BACHATA LADIES STYLING with Amelia

CHOREOGRAPHY COURSE / OPTIONAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY!

What is ladies styling? In bachata and salsa, the follower has the opportunity to express themselves in a natural and elegant manner. Learning styling technique is the first step to developing your artistry as a dance student and performer. Ladies styling can be employed in your partner dancing and in your shines, or solo dancing.

This course is designed for dancers at any level looking to level up and learn the fundamentals of ladies styling. The techniques explored in these classes include but aren’t limited to:

* Arm positions and transitions
* Musicality and timing
* Body isolations
* Turning
* Footwork

Students from any dance background are encouraged to attend. Styling is a cross-genre ability that helps with coordination, balance, and expression of movement. Amelia is looking forward to seeing you in class and sharing a dance with you! This course will culminate in an opportunity for students to perform at our Global Dance Collective End of Year Party on the 10th of December. This is a completely optional bonus that students can experience if they would like to.
