Cost Per Nine Week Duration:

One Course – $135 per person

Two Courses – $240 per person

Three Courses – $325 per person

What is a Choreography Course? A choreography course will enable students to learn a full routine to a complete song during their course. Students will also have the optional opportunity to perform this at our Northern Australian Festival of the Arts (NAFA) event, Jungle Shimmy 3.0. This annual event sells out, gives you a chance to perform in an environment that is warm, supportive and nurturing

Location: Townsville! BFitt Gym. Classes located in the upstairs dance studio. All classes are airconditioned, with mirrors and dance flooring. BFitt is located at 6/2 Woodman Ct, West End QLD 4810. Opposite Castletown, next to Chipmunks Playland. Plenty of on-site parking available.

CHOREOGRAPHY COURSE

TRANSNATIONAL FUSION WITH JORDAN

A new gentle and slinky transnational fusion choreography course with Jordan. This choreography is set to the tune Black Wine by Ripsy May; a smooth and buttery tune with earthy melodies and sensational rhythms. The dance itself is a chance for you to apply all the new movements you have been practising in term 1 this year. Vibe check: hot sauce.

This choreography will be a perfect chance for you to apply all the brilliant movements you know and will lean heavily on your classic fusion vocabulary and show you how to set them to music. Optional performance opportunity at the Northern Australian Festival of the Arts (NAFA) event, Jungle Shimmy 3.0. This annual event sells out, gives you a chance to perform in an environment that is warm, supportive and nurturing.

Suitable for beginner and beyond beginner students.

A glorious new Choreography by Cara especially for her term two Beginner Belly Dance students. We’ll take a little step back in time to the ultra glam ‘Golden Era’ of Egyptian Cinema where we’ll take inspiration from the dance stars of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s. Fun, cheeky, dynamic and most important of all SPARKLY!!

This course will be suitable for those students who took Cara’s term one course AND those looking to jump in for the first time. All welcome.

VEIL DANCE: EGYPTIAN RAQS SHARQI (BELLY DANCE) WITH CARA

Taking inspiration from Ancient Egypt we’ll create a beautiful Veil Choreography fit for an Egyptian Queen! This choreography will build on foundational Veil techniques in a thrilling choreography to delight all.

This course will be suitable for those students who took Cara’s term one course AND those looking to jump in for the first time. All welcome.

Refund Policy: There are no refunds or class credits for missed classes or change of mind. By prepaying for this course you are pledging to attend. This in turn means we can cover our time and resources to hold the class. We will also not be held liable for refunds or credits in the case of natural disaster, government enforced Covid lockdown or changes in government legislation in regards to any compulsory vaccination requirements. In the event of a Covid Lockdown we will however continue the course via online methods.
